Published on 01/02/2007 - During 2006, we saw a significant turnaround in the supply/demand balance for spandex resulting in product shortages and rising price. We recognize that this dynamic caused much stress in the supply chain and wish to thank our customers for their understanding and support through this temporary situation. We have addressed the creora supply shortage with additional capacity expansion in our production sites in China and Korea. And Hyosung has finally completed the previously announced acquisition of Tongkook's spandex facility in China. Together this investments will take our global capacity from 54000 tons to 65000 tons..
